90 Clutch Issue

I have a 1990 Accord LX and woke up this morning to find that my clutch wasn't releasing on my way to work. I only drove it about a block or so (because I felt like I was beating my car!). Any idea as to why it wouldn't release? Is it time to replace the clutch (seemed to be working fine up until this point)? Thanks for any help!

Yes, that is correct. The clutch pedal was not coming back out with alot of pressure. It was coming out, but it felt much weaker than normal. I tried pushing in and releasing the pedal several times, but no luck.
No noises were made, just really really hard to get into gear.
Thanks for the help!

It sounds to me like it's either an issue with your clutch cable or your return spring.... but if it's hard to get into gear then I'd be more prone to thinking it's a cable/tranny issue.... Have you checked your tranny fluid lately to make sure it's full and nothing is leaking, also trace your clutch cable to the top of your tranny and make sure the cable and everything looks fine...

90 started with hydraulic system..
chk the easy things first, chk to make sure clutch master cylinder has planty of fluid,, possible air in the system if no fluid in reservoir either clutch master or slave master or hose leak,,
if it is the clutch master (most likely leak,)or slave master leak , let me know i will give you an how to step by step instructions
if no leaks than sir nasty is right possible pressure plate , clutch disc issues,,
