Default 91 Accord SE all brakes locked up

Here's one I cant find an answer on anywhere on the internet! I feel like I have the only car with this issue! I bought a cheap 91 accord se, all the brakes are locked up, they said it might be an anti lock issue somewhere. The pedal is totally stiff so I removed the master cylinder and alot of psi blew out ( just air, not fluid). Then the pedal moved again, so re-installed the master cylinder and the brake pedal moves now but the brakes are still locked up. Here is the weird thing ( I have the front end up on jack stands) I put the car in gear and just slightly put my foot on the brake pedal and the wheels move, but when I apply preasure or let off the pedal they lock up again!!
Any help anyone can give me will be very very much appreciated.

Sounds like the pushrod is adjusted too long. When you replace master cylinder, there's a measurement & adjustment you have to make.

Thanks for your reply! Would that happen to be the screw on the master cylinder that is located between the two line connections?

You may have trash in the brake lines. Bleed all 4 wheels and be sure you have fluid everywhere.

If booster push rod is too long, it will not release the brakes and lockup will occur as fluid warms. Adjustment is a royal PIA. I bought OEM MC to avoid this problem.

Check Online Manuals links in DiY forum for a 1991 Accord download manual w/ pushrod adjustment procedure.

good luck

That's NOT the screw on the master cylinder.

Pushrod adjustment is probably down under the dash - somewhere on the pushrod from the pedal into the firewall & booster.

I think it might be the nut #17 in this picture??
