94 accord distributors

Default 94 accord distributors

ok i just bought a 94 honda accord DX with a blown engine, so my mechanic has a VTEC engine for me, but it doesn't have a distributor, and my DX with the blown engine does, i was wondering if they were interchangeable (sp?) but anyways please help. thanks

should be.

the ex engine will bolt up just fine, make sure that you keep the exhaust header and intake as this where most of the extra 15hp comes from.

so the DX distributor should just bolt up to the VTEC engine?

and when you say that i should keep the exhaust header and intake manifold...you mean from the vtec correct? or should i get an aftermarket header? thanks for the info

yes keep the header and intake from the Vtec engine.
