svt, i would say that you can mod your car if you put that same engine with a lot of less miles on it. i think you can probably do a lot of things to your car since you sound very mechanically inclined (i am pretty sure i used the right words here) where you are good with working on cars. i like that 5th generation body style as well. good luck with moding your car. keep us posted on what you do. that's amazing how many miles you got even if it is a honda. how's the transmission going on that thing?
You are right, if my car had a 150k on it I would do some work to it. I look forward to gettinga lower miles Accord in the future.

As for my transmission, it slips. It when cold itslips going from 2/3and 3/4. It sometimes slips whileseeking during a 4th to3rd downshift under a load. Also, topping out 3rd gear around 100it would start to slip getting close to6200 rpms. It did this when I bought the car at 190k. To my amazment all the problems haven't gotten much worse in the last 115,000 miles.I understand it's weak points andIdrive in a way tomask them. Ilighten my foot for shifts,I always pull it into 3rd before it would want todownshift. IfI took youfor a ride in it you would never know it had problems. When a friend or my girlfriend drives ityou see it's flaws, but it isstill very driveable. I change the trans fluid about every 30,000 and I did add Lucas Stop Slip at about 240,000. I don't trust most additives but I was curious, the Lucas stuff didmake a slight difference. The moral of the story is ifyourAccord startsslipping just keep driving it, you just might get another 115,000 out of it.
