Default 96 Accord Ex - Tires Won’t Lock In Park

Recently the car hit a curb and the axle snapped in half had to replace the axle as well as the lower control arm. Has an automatic transmission, started up fine in park after all the installs the issue comes when I go from drive back into park it makes a weird grinding sound in park and goes away when the car go back into drive. The front axles also spin while the car is in park and the car can now start while in drive.

With the axle broken did you put the Accord into park and hear an unpleasant noise? That would be the transmission parking pawl trying to engage. From your description your trans is not going into park. You have the linkage, parking paw, and transmission part that rotates that the parking paw stops from turning when engaged. With a broken axle you are putting the trans into park with what was left of the axle still turning.
