ahhhh then you didn't help me at all,i was hoping it was a I-4 so i can know if a V6 would function properly when dropping it in the bay of a 4 cylinder. and why didn't you just change your ECU,cylinder heads and piston's and just call it a day?i think you would've had a fairly nice gain...at least 40-50 more horses.

HPJ: The head does fit, but the pistons have to be filed to allow for the larger valves. At $600, why not do the whole engine?!? Also, it's probably more work to disassemble the lower half to change the pistons than the entire swap.

WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA!WAIT!i missed that part!600 dollars??????!!!!for an engine swap???!thats not bad!not bad at all!so is the motor running 100%.because i know some people that have done engine swaps and the motor isn't running to its peak...which is one reason i'm so afraid of putting my baby under the knife unless i am 110% sure everything will be successful

The motor runs sweet. A 4cyl isnt worth the cost of a swap.

I could have stroked it to 3.5 L. by using the crank from the 3.5 L. But didnt want to crack the engine.

yeah i know its not.but gas prices too high for me,so i don't mind sticking with my 4 banger for now.

i think what HPJ mean was that if you used to have a I4 and put a V6... or just from a V6 to another V6 type-s....
