Hello TEK310,

I just chewed second gear in my H2U5 tranny out of a 91 honda accord. I am wondering if I can do a swap of the main and countershaft of my H2U5 with another tranny without doing any modifications. I was just going to change the internals. I am just trying to do my homework, if I can't find an H2U5 at the local junkyard. I read about some changing the fifth gear on their ludes with the 5th gear from the H2U5. I was also told that the D2A4 (90 - 91 honda prelude) is the only one that will work with the H2U5. Looking at the gear ratios that you listed, which one would you recommend. This is my daily driver, not going to race or anything but would like to have a little performance. More like a sleeper.
