Question Bad transmission mount

Can a bad transmission mount cause the cars check engine light to come on? I drive a 1997 Honda accord C27a4 engine

no a bad mount has nothing to do with the CEL.

Check your codes and find out why your popping a CEL

It's a stretch, but one scenario I can think of...

The vacuum-operated mount might leak badly; so at idle when switched on it would become a vacuum leak. Throw "lean operation" or something similar?

Jim the vacuum SHOULD NOT trigger a CEL. Vacuum leak will not make a CEL pop....as far as I know
