Well, I got it jumped this morning, and its disconnected right now.
Were the jumper cables connected long enough to charge it? If not, you haven't proven anything.

Get the battery checked out. If you don't measure it properly, that won't be a goodsubstitute.

Do you have a multi-meter? If so, you can do a reasonable job of checking it out. But only if you make proper measurements & interpret them correctly. If you don't have a meter, then you'lljust beguessing.
