ECU RESET?

Default ECU RESET?

Some guy recommended me to do an ECU reset, does anyone know how to do it on a 92 honda accord ex 2.2? he said he replaced some fuse and let it idle for ten minutes ...has anyone ever done this? he said if i havent done it i should for gas mileage reasons...

juss take off ur negative terminal on the battery for a lil bit, let say 5mins? too long? that should reset your ecu

all you need to do is ,,on the underhood fuse box,, just remove the back up fuse 7.5 amp furthest to the top right. ,, for about 15-20 seconds,, and that;s it,, no need to remove battery, start the car etc etc..

is the chk engine lite on ??

thanks guys for ur replies, im going to try one of em tomorrow, and to deserthonda , no my check engine light isnt on its just that some guy recommended me to reset the ecu since ive been fixing it up so that it can measure the gas mixture or something like that, supposably he said its good to do it for gas mileage reasons...
