Simple enough, hopefully you see this....
This is how you do it...lil more than just pullin the negative off
Disconnect the negative battery part(whatever the tech term is...) , let it sit for at least 30 seconds...you can let it sit as long as you want, do so...I let mine sit for at least a decent 10minutes, overnight is good....
Turn on the car, let it run for 5-10minutes, dont touch the gas at all. (or whenever the fans turn on to cool the engine....)
Turn off the car.
Run it as you like then.
After you turn it off, if you have modifications, do it with each one so the ECU can adapt to each one....they suggest to do it with each weather change.....fall, winter, spring, summer, easy nuff
This can never hurt your ECU, most Honda dealerships do this when you bring it in for tune ups and whatnot
Dont reset ecu if ur running a different type of gas, or gas additives.
Hint-You can also(while the negative is off the battery) step on the brake for 10 seconds to help make sure the ECU is cleared and memory is cleared for the next turn of the key.
Also! If you do have mods, some people run it hard to get used to pushing itself to the limit, a good 3 runs, 1st through 3rd some people.
Hope that helps you out to the fullest
