Default Engine Chugging in Hot Weather!! I need a prevention solution...Please Help!!

Hi!

I have a 1998 Honda Accord Sedan EX and I currently live in the south where the temperature reached around 100 degrees today and it's having a large effect on my vehicle. Today in particular, my engine was choking/chugging really, really badly and I am scared that me continuing to drive it is making the situation worse. However, I NEED my car. So I hope that some of you guys can provide some input/advice on this situation.. Or any possible methods that I can use to help prevent this from occurring in this weather?

Thanks in advance!!

Tristan

Im assuming you are running your a/c? This will have an effect on your car, especially in hot weather. The hotter it is, the harder the a/c will have to work to keep your car cool... Check all your lubricants, change you oil, service your a/c system and coolant system.
Check out this vid... It is another little helper for getting your car ready for summer
