Thanks for the reply.I am a novice at this and was trying to figure out how they could be related since the part that the speedometer is related to the transmission, but the engine light comes on( i really dont know this type of stuff......plz enlightment me)....I will break down andpay the money and take it to Honda here and get them to give me the readout and everything. I just didnt want to pay a whole lot for it. And the guy at autozone seemes like and azz and might have not know what he was talking about( but I beleived hime because the dash has experienced alot of modifications). And thanks again !!!

most likely you got an issue with the V,S,S, ( vehicle speed sensor ) but you need to read the code ( to be sure ) and post it here ..

go to our DIY section, find the post about how to get trouble codes, pull the code and post it in a new thread
