Engine misfire high rpm 2008 Honda accord
Hey I'm stumped here, I've got a 2008 Honda Accord lx with a k24z2. It's the same as the z3 but a different exhaust. I bought the car awhile back, and it had a tune in it. Recently my clutch gave out so I replaced it. It was all fine and good until I drove home and was really close to home, and floored it in 3rd gear and all of the sudden I had a flashing engine light and it wouldn't go past 3000 rpm. So im assuming the engine went into limp mode. Sidenote the engine burns a little bit of oil. I could recreate the misfire under heavy acceleration, but as for normal acceleration, it starts runs and drives fine... I'm completely stumped, the only engine code is a misfire on cyl1…2…3...and 4 and a random misfire code. I changed spark plugs today just as an in case type of thing, and it actually seemed to help a little bit as I drove 8 miles and it didn't misfire until I did a 0-60 pull with it. Then it misfired at 6000 rpm. When I changed the clutch we rotated the engine a few times, possibly backwards, but that shouldn't matter as it's a timing chain and it doesn't run rough otherwise.
Also my transmission has a slight rattle, either due to low fluid or a sketch clutch disc. It only does it when I have the clutch released, and I can't hear it when it's In gear.
