I had the same problem in my Corolla when I installed new spark plugs...did you happen to do that to both vehicles? that has been my only experience with that sort of thing.

i did put spark plugs in both cars..hmmmm something to think about

maybe you have a vacuum leak, or choke problem spray the entire intake with cleaner keep an eye on the vacuum lines for bubbles
