Engine Wiring Harness - Need Advice on Cleaning Up
Hey guys, somewhat new, so please forgive me if this post should be dircted to another page...
I have a 2004 Ex Coupe, v6, 6spd, j30a4 engine..
Rebuilt the engine, but as I'm a neat freak and anticipate the removal of engine components over the remaining life of this car I'm going to rewrap the engine harness, (giving a cleaner custom look) and label the harness for future quick hookups.
My questions are:
1) are there any wires that should be addressed (i.e., prone to breaking or could benefit from an increase in wire length or size)?
2) has anyone done this? any advice on wrap methods? (heat shrink? standard tape? conduit?-- I'm still researching but leaning towards a clean combination of all 3 (in blue for custom look))
3) should I apply dielectric grease to all fittings for moisture prevention and easier future disassembly? will this hurt any specific fitting(s)?
4? finally, if anyone has done this can you post pics r send a link to them?
Thanks in advance!

thanks for the response. exactly the idea I'm going for, but leaning I'm emphasizing functionality, too hopefully- to make the engine easy to pull out and apart without the worry of forgetting a crucial electrical connection.
I found a good bulk deal of blue shrink wrap through Fastenal for $15 that should do most of it. I'm removing the factory shrink wrap and conduit/ plastic routing crap and using minimal zip ties to secure the new one. It should dress up the eng bay reduce the clutter lol
