IDK what bearing falls apart, but one does. This lead to lip seal failure on my tranny. AFAIK, the replacement has not been improved and there are many accounts of 6th gen's needing a second replacement ..... people usually ditch the car before needing a third tranny change.

For fraughton: The cooler just has to fit and get airflow. This is an added cooler to expand the capacity of the OEM one. All you have to do is connect it to the cooler on the bottom of your radiator and add a hose to go back to the tranny.
