I have a 2001 accord with a f20b swap and auto transmission. The transmission won't shift... It will go into reverse, sometimes 1st gear but when it hits 21mph and tries to shift to 2nd it just pops neutral and revs. Then I have to fight for it to go back into 1st. Is that the transmission or a wiring or shift solenoid problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Any Check Engine LIght or D4 light flashing? A code would provide a clue.

When you turn keyswitch from Off to On, does Check Engine Light (CEL) come on for 2-3 secs and go off? If not, CEL may not be working.

There is an extensive list of problems that don't set trans codes (CEL), and in some cases match your symptoms partially. Suggest finding an emanual online or purchase an emanual from automanualsource.com ($22).
