A lot of things could. Most common is probably a vacuum leak. Are we talking like 2500rpm rev or 8000rpm

It's revving high and quick. We looked over all the vacuums and everything seemed to be hooked up.

Ok well first off want to thank everyone who has helped on this swap but now I have another issue my CEL is on and the code is a code 6 which is the engine coolant temp. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I stuffed an f20b in my 97 accord lx. I also put the t2t4 trans and converted car from auto. I went the aem route for my f20b. coil on plugs with k20/k24 coils. the ems-4 ecu uses a wideband so it stays in closed loop at wide open throttle. it has very clean looking optical cam n crank sensors that replace the huge distributor. I kept the variable length intake runners and have vtec switchover at 5200rpm. you need to verify the coolant temp sensor pigtail is pluged into coolant temp and not fan switch or something else.

and these are the dyno results, so this is what that motor is worth at the wheels.

So this is still not running right but I think I finally have It narrowed down I think that I need to adjust the tps just a lol bit and if that don't fix it then it's the iacv. But the iacv are super expensive but can u by pass this unit or possibly use one from a different motor

Did you take car of the code 6?

Measure the voltage on the tps from idle to WOT.....you want to see a nice steady change form ~.4v to ~4.5v.

Most of the time the IACV can be cleaned to get it working correct again. I'm not that good with swaps so I don't know if a used one from a F22 will work or not, you could always pull one from a bone yard and compare them if the cleaning doesn't correct the issue.
