Snag the f22a6 head. It has the more aggressive camshaft. But make sure to use the a6 ecu with it.

Okay, I'll try to see if I can find a Pick N pull or junkyard that has one for cheap....
For the Cam and valve train... should I do the Spring and retainer kit, cam gear, and 2mm intake, 1mm ex over size stainless steel valves? or the 1mm os exhaust stainless steel valve?

if your only gonna run stock cam...then I would not worry about the valve train...also cam gears are pretty much pointless unless your set up requires advance timing. This normally comes into play with a tune.

Now my next question is....how much a "rebuild" is this gonna be? performance rebuild or just OEM rebuild. Why I ask is if your going to be adding aftermarket parts you might want to look into a chipped ECU that can get a tune. so you can take advantage of the aftermarket parts. Running a bunch of aftermarket parts on a stock tune is kinda defeating the purpose of installing the parts

I'm going to do a performance rebuild... I wanna make the engine as fast as I can without boosting it... So the only way I could think of making it faster without a turbo is just rebuild most of the engine... I would do an engine swap but I wanna see how much power I can get out of a Non-Vtec single cam..
