fuel leak

RE: fuel leak
You will need to crawl underneath and look, or take it to a repair shop and pay them to crawl under or put on a lift to see what is leaking. Could be a fuel line or connection or the tank or anything in between. I wouldn't ignore it, as your car or engine could catch on fire.

RE: fuel leak
It could be ANYTHING, unless you can narrow down where the leak is.
Simple stuff could be a loose hose clamp on the fuel return line. Or maybe the filler pipe or ??
Itmightbe corrosion perforation of the fuel lines under the car?
Hope it isn't corrosion of the tank itself...

gas leak
i also have a gas leak. mine is actually coming from the tank tho. the tank doesnt look too healthy, but is it possible that it could just be a loose line on top? im hoping it isnt corrosion. i have a 98 honda accord vtec auto 4cyl. its got numerous things wrong with it. vtec system malfunction which i believe is caused by my oil problem but im not sure bc its consistent. i need a new oil pan i blelieve. it goes thru about a quart of oil a week but when i fill it with oil it doesnt really change the vtec malfunction all that much,. yes it helps but its not fixed. its also misfiring in every cylinder, which i believe is caused by the distributor. its going on 170,000 thousand miles on it, is it even worth the time and money to fix? any suggestions of what else could be wrong?
