Default help me please!?

Hi I have a 1998 honda accord ex sedan and I was wondering if someone could help me increase the overall speed of my car. It is currently stock and I want to make it fast in the price range of about 1500. If someone could tell me what I should start out with and what sites to get it from it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading.

OK - 4-cyl, VTEC, automatic trans.
Please post the stuff out here, not in private messages. That way all the other people who could help you will see it also. (I don't always look at my PM very quickly)

I should have also asked if you have a budget in mind. Things can get real expensive like swapping in different engines, etc.

your best bet 5speed swap. under 2k.

want more h22a lsd swap or v6 under4k
if you dont want to do a swap them cold air intake, headers, good exhaust system, pistons, high flow fuel rail, injectors, good tune up.
remember that a/t can not hold to much, so if you try to push a lot of power then you might ending blowing you transmission

i agree with luis, basically just make it breath better. having a cold air intake and exhaust header will give you a bunch more horse power for only a couple hundered bucks. hes right about the tranny point too. i have the same car except with a 5 speed. i plan on putting high flow exhaust and cold air intake just to give it some extra horses.

swap for a 5speed. cost you around 800 to do. Just did mine....pretty easy.

Also guys intake and exhaust don't gain much of any power. Your better off taken the money for the exhaust and get a cam regrind and the intake Much better power to cash ratio

Pick n pull trans (try and find one with a good clutch saves more money) $100
shift cables got from a member of cb7tuner.com $40
ESP FULL mount kit $300
Pick n pull shifter $20
Pick n pull driver axle $30
My short cut clutch cable $65
New master cyl $35
New Slave cyl (even know I didn't need it) $30
OEM clutch/flywheel/pressure plate 130
New shift boot and **** $20
Pick n pull gas break clutch pedals $30
Install FREE did it myself

Total $800

If you use better clutch and lightened flywheel then you can be in and over the 1k range.
