Default MIL Light on P0401, EGR Insufficient Flow??

So, about 600 miles ago I bought a 2000 accord coupe with 148000 miles now the guy just had the head rebuilt and the trans rebuilt so I thought why not get it well... It was great for about 2 week then I noticed some smoke coming out the tailpipe on cold starts not constant just for a few seconds... well long story short he picked it up pulled the codes and replaced the MAP sensor and the EGR valve and cleaned the Throttle Body. Ive had the car back 4 days. Still have a little smoke if I dont let the car warm up for about 5 mins. and surprise the MIL came back on... I pulled the code and it came back P0401 EGR Insufficient Flow... So my question being does anybody have any idea where to start? I can rip apart and repair anything I just am not familiar with hondas!! Please any help would be great!!!!

I'm pretty sure over in our DIY section there's a similar post about cleaning out the EGR passageways in a 4-cyl engine.
