Need Help Tranny Problems

Default Need Help Tranny Problems

Ok so i hve an 01' Accord Coupe 4cyl 5 Speed and last night i tried to reverse but it felt like it was a wall or somthing blocking me from doing so. In shor m can doesnt have revese and i wanna know if i need a new tranny or a synchronizer and it also grinds going in to 5th gear but only at high speed, Let me know if you know antything thanks.

When off, how does she shift? Also when was the last fluid change?

Its good in every gear it grinds a littlein 5 th but thats only when im at high speed but it just came to mind that it might be my shift linkage what do yall think??

When you try and put it in reverse, have you tried shifting to 1st of 2nd to "line it up?" A lot of times, my car will not shift to reverse, so I throw it in 1st or 2nd, then it will go in no problem. I have also done this with my friend's car as well. I don't think it's the whole tranny, my guess is that it would be something else, like syncros.

Could be something with shifter cables.
