Unhappy tranny problems. need advice.

Hi all, please excuse me if I am not posting this in the right domain. I bought a 97 lx auto accord w/ 130k mi on it a couple months ago. 3 months later the tranny failed. I had the codes PO715 and and PO740. My mechanics recommended that I do a tranny swap. So I had a JDM tranny put in with supposedly only 30k on it. I did not replace the input speed sensor though. I noticed the check engine light was still on and that it shifted hard. Jolts when switching gears. Shifts late when I decelerate or break. Got it tested and I pulled the code po715.. So, my question. Do you think JDM gave me a shot tranny? or should I dish out 100$+ to replace the input speed sensor? hopefully that will take care of the hard shifts? Thanks.

I like to follow the codes......I would suggest that you check the throttle control cable for proper adjustment and movement. Then also be sure the mounts are good.....just me

agreed, follow the codes
excellent advise
on another note, i had a Dodge Caravan in my shop the other day, replaced rack and pinion and leaking intake gasket, unplugged 6 connectors to do the job, upon startup it threw codes at me (scanned it before repair, no codes) injector 2 and 6 open, temp switch open causing fan to constantly run, cleared codes, injectors recalibrated, temp switch needed replacement.
sometimes you unplug it it doesnt return.
