There is a noise coming from the front end of my Accord. I’ve asked around and people say it may be “lifter tick”, where there is an inaccurate distance between the valve covers and some other components, or, maybe, the fuel injector(s?). I’ve put a brand new oil filter on and ran three bottles of Seafoam and one bottle of Lucas Oil through the gas tank. I ran one bottle of STP oil additive through the oil as well. After an $80 inspection, my local automotive repair team tightened the washer fluid container and a few other things, said there were no issues, and sent me on my way. However, I am sure this is an issue. It is a VERY loud ticking and I am sure it will affect the resale value to the extent that I’d rather worry about it. Does anybody have any suggestions before I take it in for a valve adjustment and/or fuel injector replacement?
