Default RE: rear balance shaft

Well I found my problem has nothing to do with the timing belt. When Idid this job I also replaced the fuel regulator becausea mechanic friend found a recall on it, it was causing a lean condition and making the check eng. lite come on. Anyway it was that thing making all the noise so I put my old one back on and the noise is gone, I took the lower cover off and was using a wooden dowel rod as a stethascope, nothing was wrong with any of the parts I had replaced I got it right the first time.I Started going all over the eng. with the dowel rod and finally I came to that regulator, couldn't beleive it!!!!! If I had done that to begin with I would have saved myself a lot of grief, but I'm pretty good now at taking all that stuff off. I want to thank everyone who replied to my call for help, it's good to know there's somewhere to ask a question and get some quick replies. Thanks Drew
