get a cam gear and advance it by 4 or 5 degrees for better take off acceleration, since you already have exhaust system your bottom end torque is shifted to a higher rpm range

mine is a '98 lx 4cyl, had air intake and exhaust, the cam gear really helps shift the torqueto low/mid rpm range
Do you have a manual or something with directions on how to set those gears properly? I've always been interested in those things, but other than dyno testing, I don't see a good method to determine how much to move it, also I'm concerned about the potential for damage especially considering that these are interference engines.

MAKE SURE TO TIghten them i had a friend that tHOUGHT he did and he didnt KABOOM BEND BEND BEND

Seems that AEM recommends a setting in the paper that comes with the gear ...... too bad that it doesn't work with i-VTEC or VVT-i.
