RE: SRS
I'm with smaglik on this. If you short the wrong lead accidentally, you are looking at a new dash, windshield, steering wheel, seats, etc. and depending on your position, the airbag deployment could snap your neck and kill you. I'd leave this one to the dealer!

My lights been coming on as well, but it only comes on for maybe the first 10 seconds after I start the car and then goes off, my dad, who knows good amount about cars keeps telling me that as long as it goes off and doesnt linger that there shouldnt be any problems, its been doing this for maybe 6 months now, but like I said, it never stays, should I be concerned?

RE: SRS
well i have a 99 accord ex 2.3lt Ulev V-tec4-door and the srslight would stay on 24/7 and still is until tomorow i take it to the dealershipbut they gave me a little heads up that it could be anything with the seat belts, seat sensors, or the steering wheel air bag so any of those things are covered free off charge thats what i got told at the dealership.

I had that issue and the dealer replaced the driver side seatbelt buckle for me ...... the problem is gone!!! They said that the microswitch in the buckle breaks and that it is common.
