I drive a 02 Accord 2.3L LX Coupe i want to do an engine swap just dnt know what kind to get or what to look for. ive found one or two but they seem to be the same stock one i dnt want that one due to lack of preformance upgrades avalble for the car moneys not an issue either so if you could help thanks for that.

 

Well the common one is a H22 swap, which is in the 1-3k range.

The more expensive option is a k24a2 which is in the 5-8k range.

 

So were could I look to get an H22 engine and what's the diffrence between an 02 and 01 accord coupe?

 

craigslist, ebay, engine importers. engine importers tend to be a bit more expensive but there is usually a warranty. craigslist you can usually find cheap engines, but if they are stolen or run are in question.

I'm not sure there is a difference between 01 and 02s.

 

Ok cool yeah I just find it weird for them to have a diffrence cuz when I'm lookin at parts online they will say 97-01 and I'm thinkin to my self that the 98-02 all have the same body style only diffrence I know is the computer system but yeah thanks bro.
