Default Temperatue Gauge/Brakes

I have a 2002 Honda Accord 4door EX. Recently when I idle at stop or parkingthe temeprature rises very quickly. I have checked all my fuses and the cooling fans do turn on yet it still rises. There is plenty of coolant. Any suggestions? I was thinking about getting the radiator flushed.

Also, anyone have a recommendation on where to get my brakes looked at/replaced. They have been squeking a while and I believe it's time to get them replaced. I heard from so people to not go to Brake Check Plus.

Check your thermostat it could be bad. Same thing use to happen to me when I had an Oldsmobile Omega(heap) 2 different cars but another place to start.

yes, coolant level is where it needs to be and the fans turn on no problem.
