I did my Accord 93 the other day.
I removed the air box and hose, disconnected the vacuum hoses and removed the whole thing.
I bought a new gasket at auto zone for few bucks.
I removed the throttle plate ( yeah, the brass round flap from inside, )
I Used Carb cleaner , wire brush, compressed air.
Put all together, car runs smooth as butter now. It was all gunk-ed up inside. Soaked a towel in carb cleaner and wiped the inside the big intake attached to the motor, the other half , with the brass flap come of easily.
