Default Tranny swap Help

Hey there guys, I need some help. My at tranny has broke down and I'm looking to go manual. Where would be the best place to finda tranny, and how much $ will it cost for the whole swap. I have a 97 accord LX, with a f22b2 non-v-tec. N is it possible to do by myself?

Default RE: Tranny swap Help

its much more complicated then you think... your lookin' at 2g's to do the swap from a AT to MT..
easiest way to do it is to buy a manual '97 from the junkyard to get all the parts.. slave/master cylinder, clutch, flywheel, tranny, peddle assembly,
rear diff, ecu, a bunch of other ****.. its a lot of time and effort.. good luck, hope these links help.
