Hey guys, The wife has a friend that has a 95 Accord with a V6 that is blown and had asked me to keep an eye out for another motor. Well, last night I found one from a 98. My question is do they interchange? Or to be more specific will the mounts line up? Pretty good price for low miles, just need to know before I e-mail the guy and let her friend know I found it as to not get her hopes up.

if you do get the motor form a 98 v6, i think that the tranny needs to be replace too, but im not sure. the trannies from 98-01 (honda said 02 trannies were fixed of faults[sm=signs006.gif]) are faulty because they are flawed in design and will probably go out eventually. i think your best bet is to look for the v6 engines for your 5th gen accord.

 

it would be easier to swap a CL 3.0L in there becuase you can take the
