Default Tranny question...shifter question...

Ok first off it's a '94 Accord EX Auto (150,xxx miles).
1) I was driving and my upper radiator hose blew. So I had it flatbedded to the crib and replaced both upper and lower hoses. After the flatbed trip the shifter will not come out of park. I have to use the shift release or start it in neutral. What's up with that?

2) After driving it for a while it suddendly stopped letting me rev over 2K. Doesn't matter what gear I'm in it won't rev over 2k it's like it's hitting a rev limiter, it just backs it down. What's up with that?

Any help would be appreciated. I just need to keep it running good until Jan/Feb '07 (3-4 months) 'cause I'm putting in a JDM H22 w/ lsd tranny around then.

I would test your shift lock solenoid for starters. you can jump it and make sure the solenoid clicks.

Are your brake lights working?

Have you checked the ignition system?
