It's not easy to feel on DOHC either. I had an Integra GSR & what you feel is the secondary runners of the intake manifold opening up. Always worth a laugh when someone says "WOW, that V-TECH is really amazing"

but you will know when it dont worl at all.... feels flat like an auto 4 banger pickup
