Question What grade of gas should I use?

I got a new Accord '10 Sedan. I would like to know what fuel grade should I use, 87, 89 or 93 ? Also which is the best gas station I should refuel from (exxol, mobil, Sunoko, Gulf)?

All you PROs out there, please suggest!

Details, details, details... ???
What engine do you have?
Where are you located? (guess USA because of the grade numbers)

In USA I'm pretty sure that both available engines should take 87-AKI fuel. The owner's manual WILL tell you.

I've never found any differences that I can tell, from one gas brand to another. But I don't usually go to brands that I've never heard of before, because the major brands usually compete for price.

Question Details!

I knew I would miss something

I have a Honda Accord 2010 4D sedan, 4-Cylinder 16-Valve DOHC i-VTEC Automatic.

I live in the USA. Please advice on the fuel grade I should use 87/89/93 and the best gas station.

Anti-knock index should be 87.

Maybe others will chime in on brands of gas, but I haven't had any issues with any of them.

87 is what the manual calls for, so use 87.
I buy my gas at Kroger because I get $0.03 off every gallon just for using my Kroger card, or $0.10 off every gallon if I get 100 points from buying groceries or prescriptions.
I have never found any difference whatsoever in "brands" of gas. I always either buy the cheapest, or what is the most convenient at the time.
Gasonline is regulated. All gas stations should have the same gas in my opinion. I'm sure others will disagree, but I have never experienced and "bad gas" before. Only time I have ever heard anything wrong with gas is if it had water (or some other contaminant) in it from problems in the lines and underground tanks at the gas station; or occasionally I have heard of gas stations that have diesel and gas on the same pump having a failure in the "switch" that controls gas vs diesel, ultimately mixing the two and putting it in the customer's tank.

91 or better is the best i find! i get a little more MPG and that extra power. i have a 5 speed and when i lock on cruise at 65 70 MPH, any hill that comes at me it won't slow down. when i use regular or 87 i find it falls in speed when i hit a hill and lose MPG. but everyone will say they don't see that because they are city where i have open roads and can travel fast and not get caught. hardly ever see city driving because city to me has a 20 mile radius LOL

If anything, higher octane will reduce gas mileage, not increase it.
The only Accord engine higher octane gas has been proven to add any extra power to is the 2003 and up V6.

I would stick to what is recommended by Honda (87). They built the car, so they should know what is best for it
