Default 03 Honda Accord lock malfunction?

Hello, I do not know a lot about cars I will describe my issue as best as I can. I have a 2003 Honda Accord with 180,000+ miles. I do not have a key fob, only the key and the only way to unlock the car is from the drivers side door. This is also the only way to turn the cars alarm off. So this all started from me locking the keys in the car, we forced the door open which started the alarm. I entered the key in the door to turn the alarm off but the key will not turn. I eventually turned the alarm noise off but it won’t turn off. I also put the key in the ignition and it will not turn at all, the brake pedal won’t budge so I’m assuming it’s in a security mode. My question is do I need to replace the lock cylinder or the actuator?

So the key won't turn at all when you try on the driver's door?

No, last time I tried the key it wouldn’t even go in the lock until I forced it. After that it would t turn to unlock the door.

If the key won't turn the lock on the door or the ignition switch, then you have some kind of mechanical problem with the key. Or both ignition switch and door lock cylinders broke at the same time?

Maybe try spraying some WD-40 into the door lock cylinder to free any stuck pins.
