been looking at pictures of other ppls 03+ accords and have noticed
that mine is very dim compared to others.
wondering if there is a way to make it brighter or possible change to an LED
bulb of some sorts.

There is a cheap bulb behind there, they are notorious for going out but don't take it to a dealer for repair... pull the deck and take it apart then replace the bulb yourself.... it's like a $2.00 part or something.... Make sure you know/have your security code.

 

00AccordLX5spd had his go out for a while but it came back on... he may know the part number/instructions for the repair too...

 

Just bought an 03 3 weeks ago, and mine totally went out as soon as I turned my headlights on while driving. There was a service bulletin about this, check the web. It should be covered under warranty 3 yrs/60K. In canada the warranty was changed to 5yr/100k. So my local honda dealer took care of it for free. I was there for an hour.
