06 Honda accord radio works but nothing coming out of speakers!!!PLEASE HELP
I have a 2006 Honda accord v6 with premium audio. I wired my amp and subs to rear speakers and a couple days after my speakers stopped working but my radio still turns on and works. Does anyone know what the problem could be???? I took the subs and amp out to put everything back to factory settings still nothing out of the speakers. PLEASE HELP
I would start by checking the fuses just to be sure that you didn't blow a fuse for the speakers. I don't have a wiring diagram for an 06 accord, but my TSX has a fusebox inside the car that protects the speakers. Take a look at the owner's manual for fuse descriptions.
If you messed with connections behind the radio make sure everything is connected back there, This had happened to me and it ended up being a plug that kind of was a bigger headphone back.
Does the green light on the amp turn on?
My kenwood amp has a harness in the back of it which I wired to both of the rear speakers. I didn't hook anything up to the radio just ran battery wire and ground to the amp. I can't take pictures because I took subs and amp out to put it back to the original settings. It makes a popping sound when I turn the radio on then goes away but no sound.
