Just bought an 1988 accord LXI 5 speed. The car runs fine except for 2 problems, the cars idle drops at first when you give it gas so it almost stalls unless you anticipate it happening. Also when in any gear other than 1st at about 2k-2.2k RPMs every once and awhile the car will suddenly lose power come back then lose it again making the car jerk really bad until you get the engine out of that range, above 2.5k or below 2k then it acts fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CEL is working and doesn't ever come on while running.

also it's fuel injected...
