1990 accord ex oil pan punture

1990 accord ex oil pan punture

i have a hole in my oil pan that looks like it exploded outwards. its small like half an inch. what causes that? replies would be greatly appreciated!

A = disaster, in my view
B = 1/2 inch is huge hole

does engine run? does it run ok?
does oil light come on?
tell oil level showing on dipstick.
