Default 1991 accord lx window issue

So I have a good relay, but I am not sure what is going on. My windows only work after the car has been running for 30 to 40 minutes and then they work like normal. Not sure what could cause this... bad compactor somewhere maybe?

Do any of the windows work from other control panels (pax, rear)? If not, then a wiring fault or connector fault is likely. A loss of ground for the system might also cause problem. Check grounds (download 91 shop manual from Online Manuals post in DIY forum).

The rubber conduit from door frame to door flexes each time driver's door is opened and is a likely spot for wiring faults.

good luck

When the windows are working all control pannels work. But like i said it takes 30 to 45 min of the car running for them to work, but once i hit that time frame all windows window pannels work, and even though the relay tested good could it be a bad relay?

I'm on the road and don't have my home PC w/ emanuals. My recollection is there is a separate relay for each window.

Suggest downloading the 91 Accord manual from links in DIY forum post "Online Manuals" to get the wiring diagram and locations of all relays, fuses, grounds.

An intermittent ground is a likely fault as this would disable all windows.

good luck
