Default 1991 Honda Accord LX 2dr help with Cooling Fan

Hay folks,
On my 1991 Honda Accord LX 2dr Coupe the second engine cooling fan (the one towards the passanger side) that comes on when you use the air conditioning, the electric motor comes on, but the fan blades do not turn.

I have checked and the blades turn freely. They are not stuck or jammed.

Is this something that can be fixed? Or did something (like a plastic part) that connects the blades to the motor just decide to break and now I have to buy a whole new fan assembly?

As always I thank you for your kind assistance.

Sounds "(like a plastic part) that connects the blades to the motor just decide to break". It is possible that the motor has failed but still hums.

I'd remove the fan assembly (easy to do) and see it it's reparable. If not, replace.

Default Found good info

Thank you.

I know to remove on the top you move the AC lines out if the way ( just loosen the bracket) maybe have to move super radiator hose, then remove plastic cover under the car, then one bolt there....

Found picture showing there is a nut holding it to the motor shaft and exploded diagram.

Hopefully the washer and nut feel onto the plastic cover and are still there, or even on the fan shroud.
