1992 Honda Accord Will Not Start
I have a problem with my 1992 honda accord lx. I was very low on gas and heading to the gas station. 2 blocks away from the station I ran out of gas. After adding a few gallons of gas to my Honda I'm unable to get it started. The car appears to be turning over fine. I can hear the fuel pump engage. I can even smell the gas when I get impatient in trying to get it started. I had a issue with the main relay. That has been fixed in the parking lot where its currently sitting.
So far I have changed the main relay and the fuel filter. What should I check next??
Thanks.
Steve

RE: 1992 Honda Accord Will Not Start
With no starts, you need to determine if there is lack of fuel or spark.
There is an excellent writeup on www.tegger.com/hondafaq/faq.html for starting problems.
You can ground a spark plug and turn the engine. If you see a bright blue spark, then the spark is fine.
For fuel, you can spray some starting fluid in the intake and see if the car starts up for a second. If it does start then dies, then I would get the fuel pressure tested.
