1992 A/t Accord No start
Alright so heres the problem, my accord stalled and wont start back. The problem is with the ignition, the cel code was 8 wich is the tdc sensor so i got a used distributor from the scrap yard and the only spark i would get comming out of the coil was just when i was releasing the key from the start position... So again went back and got a used distributor seing that the one i just bought was defect ... again with the same problem the spark was just at the end ... so now im confused could it be something els or i was just unlucky and got 2 bad distrubutors with the tdc (top dead center) sensors not worcking ... im just wondering if ne one could help me out and if theres a way to get a free wiring diagram for the ignition with a way to test the problem. Could it come from somewhere else or would i be better off spending the money and risking the new distributor.
Thanks in advance.

A quick test would be to check for 12V going to the blk/yel wire of the distributor or coil when the key is in the II position.
The Common DIY Threads (second thread in the gen tech help forum) has a link for shop manuals. I think one for the 91 will work on your car.

Ya it did but like i said ive changed the distributor with a brans new one and still no start. Is neone aware if there is a wire of some sort that passes over the exhaust heat shield cuz mine was loose so i screwed it back maybe i hit a wire of some sort
re-trace your work. make sure no wires are wedged.
