I would not attempt to do a front brake job with trapped rotors without replacing the bearing. The bearings are relatively inexpensive $35 and up. The rotors last typically 100K or more. If your going to do that much work why not replace the bearing as well? Getting the bearing off is another 30 minutes of work with an angle grinder. I guess you have to pull the knuckle which you dont have to do with a hub tool. My last rotors had 180K miles on them and were technically still in spec when I measured them. Just my 2c
