Default 1993 accord dx will not make a sound

I replaced a bad transmission shift solenoid, radiator and thermostat. But I broke the bottom bolt off in the thermostat housing that held the grounding cable. the engine will not make a sound. everything appears to be working fine main relay and and the fuel pump. I am not getting any trouble codes.
i bolted the ground cable to one of the other bolts on the thermostat housing.

What do you mean will not make a sound? Like it wont turn over? Does it click? Do the electrical components work?

It has got to be something to do with that ground cable (if the car was fine before that happened). It's probably not getting good ground fromt he other bolt you attached it to.

What I don't understand is; losing that ground connection shouldn't prevent the starter from working. You could lose fuel or spark, but the starter would still run.

While you were doing the shift solenoids, would you have (accidentally) removed the small wire from the starter?

that ground wire is the main ground for the ecu,, it will not keep the engine from turning it will keep it from starting,,
dash lites on when key in on position ?? chk battery cables ,+ wires going to starter Jim might have hit it on the head about the starter wire possibly being off,, if cables ok,, chk the main fuses maybe you accidentally blew one ,,

I accidently removed the wire from starter. The car is running again.
