Default 1994-1997 4 cylinder fender different than a 6 cylinder fender????

Hi eveyone, well i found a brand new front fender this guy has for sale and it is the side i need. (mine is wrinkly from when i bought it) He asked me if my car was a 4 cylinder and 4 door and i said yes. Then he said this fender will not fit when he got it he noticed it was too long so he said it is from a 6 cylinder (maybe 2 door model) that they sent the wrong one. Is this true that a 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder fenders are different?? [&:]I looked at some new honda parts online and they all say fenders for 4 cylinders but i can't find any for 6 cylinders to verify that they are different. Thanks.

http://www.hondiscountparts.com/

Here is a listing of engine and chassis codes, if the two door is different than the four door and the two engines come in two different chassis, then the Japanese have followed suit for forcing us to buy specific parts for a specific vehicle. That why this countries large companies are so rich now.

Without knowing the specific answer, I would say that a sedan fender would not fit on a coupe, that been my experience here, thats the first question the junk yard asks.
