I have a 1994 Accord that has been an interesting ride. I had all kinds of fuel/electrical issues that I had to take it to a shop to get fixed. Now I have a loud clicking noise when you first hit the brake to take it out of park. Seems to be fine driving but it does need the front brakes done very soon. Anyone have a clue what the noise is it isn't there after you take it out of park?

Could be ABS pump Maby or something with ABS. ABS light on?

 

you car is equipped with a shift interlock solenoid which won't let you pull it out of park unless your foot is on the brake, they do make some noise sometimes, could be on it's way out???

 

X2 on the interlock. Press and release the brake as you listen to the area around the shifter.
